Elizabeth Fiore Art Advisory specializes in building private and corporate
collections of contemporary and modern art. Whether you are just starting out or
seeking suitable additions to an already defined collection of art, we provide a
full spectrum of professional services required for collecting and managing art.
By utilizing our expert knowledge and global contacts, we assist you in
building and adding to a significant collection. It is our belief that bringing art
and collector together requires both the time and commitment to understand
what is truly suitable for both.
In over twenty years of involvement in the art market, founder Elizabeth Fiore
has built relationships with collectors, gallerists,
museum curators and artists to facilitate access to the works you may wish to
acquire. She is a talented communicator and an adept negotiator whose abilities
permit her special access to the divergent communities that make up the art
world.
Elizabeth can bridge communities and cultures. She can link you to the American,
European and Latin American art worlds so that you can find the special works of
art that reflect your esthetics and your style while increasing the
value of your collection. Among the important art Elizabeth Fiore has placed are
works by Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Yves Klein, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Roy
Lichtenstein, Ghada Amer, Alighiero Boetti, Julio Galan, James Casabere and Vik
Muniz (to name a few) in major collections.
As the art market evolves, so do collectors' objectives. To meet your needs,
Elizabeth Fiore Art Advisory analyzes your tastes and goals while selecting and
placing the works of art for your collection. Whether the collection is for a
home, office, educational institution, or museum, we thoroughly weigh your
interests and concerns against the highest quality and widest selection of work
available.
We expand the collector's knowledge of the market with our network of
professional contacts spanning four continents. We keep abreast with the art that is
breaking both in the business of art and in the creative community.
International auction houses, art fairs, and biennials are attended with your
objectives in mind. We will arrange for private visits to artists' studios and
gallery pre-openings to ensure that you can select from an artist's best work.
Our policy is to ensure that every aspect of the acquisition and maintenance of
artwork is managed efficiently and securely. If you so desire, we will arrange
all research and documentation of artist biographies and bibliographies; compile
a thorough provenance of each work; and oversee all framing, packaging, storage,
transport, and insurance. Our objective is to place your collection in the most
appropriate setting of your home, office, or gallery, with its proper lighting
and conservation. We will supervise any loan of work to museums and traveling
exhibitions. Should you choose to de-access any work, we will handle all aspects
of the art's resale.
We put our client's objective's first, pledging no loyalty to any specific
gallery, artist, inventory, or auction house. The great expanse of our resources
combined with our constant immersion in the world of art enables us to avoid the
conflicts of interest that visiting only a limited sector of the market affords.
The strength of Fiore Art Advisory is our independence, the opportunities we
seek out, and the wide range of professional contacts we maintain.
Elizabeth Fiore
Elizabeth Fiore's extensive involvement with art institutions and businesses has
contributed to her organizational, curatorial, and fundraising expertise. Since
1990, she has helped individual and corporate collectors build important
collections of Modern and Postmodern Art.
Having lived in Paris, where she graduated from the Université de Paris,
Sorbonne, Ms. Fiore came to know the European art scene intimately before moving
back to New York and joining the Pace Wildenstein Gallery.
In 1993, Ms. Fiore became the director of the Annina Nosei Gallery, known for
discovering many of the most notable artists of the 80s and 90s. Here she also
became well acquainted with Latin American contemporary art, while giving many
now-important artists, such as Ghada Amer, their first one-person exhibitions.
Gina Fiore
Gina Fiore brings to the Art Advisory a unique artistic vision with keen
business insight. After receiving her degree at Bennington College and working
at the renowned Zabriskie Gallery (Paris) and Pace Editions (New York), Gina
opened her own successful Art Salon in the once home and studio of Jackson
Pollock on MacDougal Alley. Garnering a New York Times Magazine cover profile,
Gina's salon launched the careers of such artists as Mark Sheinkman, Robert
Lazzarini, Richard Tsao, and Holly Miller.
Gina's extensive art experience is enhanced by a decade of management
experience, including senior level planning for Goldman Sachs, where she oversaw
contracts, budgets, and event locations. Her additional development of global
co-branding opportunities and years of client negotiations, marketing, and gift
management enable her to superbly identify and develop potential enterprises
and talent.
